Panduit launches new power distribution units that combine compact design with improved power performance and enhanced cybersecurity features.

Infrastructure specialist Panduit is launching new power distribution units (PDUs) with the introduction of the G6 PDU family. The G6 PDUs offer a more compact profile that optimizes rack space and improves airflow around IT equipment.

A notable feature, according to Panduit, is the increased memory, 128 times more than the previous G5 series. In addition, there is the ability to daisy chain up to 32 PDUs, ensuring a more efficient network configuration. In addition, the G6 PDU features a USGv6 certified IPv6 network stack, providing additional cybersecurity.
