Do you need to make an appointment with public administrations to renew documents, request assistance or for any other action? Now you have an application that centralizes all these requests: Pre-Appointment. It was recently released for public use and promises to make interacting with management more convenient.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation has stepped up its game in terms of access to a large part of the procedures with the administration; mobile applications are evolving to not only facilitate access but also complement it. Applications such as My Citizen Folder play a key role in this task, but they are not the only application: there are other sister applications that need to be installed. It is the new addition to the family by appointment.

Appointment is an app that lets you make appointments and keep your calendar up to date.

As usual, the procedure is to go to the administration website where we want to perform it, search for the access area for the task, log in with a valid identification method and fill in the forms with everything necessary. This is a laborious processespecially since it is not always easy to find the exact address of the procedure. This is where the new application has an impact.

Appointment is a newly released application that has been in closed testing for several months. With it, after accessing the usual Cl@ve or digital certificate, it is possible to choose a type of procedure from any Spanish administration and register the appointment in just a few steps. Without leaving the phone and in a very simple way.

The application follows the graphic scheme of its siblings such as My Citizen Folder, QEDU or FNMT: flashy interface, unified access, menus as simple as possible (combining all accesses is a real feat) and a calendar with all previously requested appointments will be saved. The application will also be responsible for remembering events, which makes it very annoying if it happens later, due to the cost of making an appointment.

As a disadvantage, we found that when we made a mistake in a procedure it did not always return correctly: often the only way to return close the previous appointment and start the process over againThere is still a lot of room for improvement, we will see how it develops.
