The Cupertino giant yesterday presented the iPhone 16, the smartphone that was the big star of the event and which accompanied the guest of honor, the Apple Watch Series 10, a new smart watch that brings significant changes compared to the previous model, both qualitative and quantitative.

The first thing that catches your eye about the Apple Watch Series 10 is undoubtedly its design. Apple has profiled the chassis much better and improved the component layout to achieve the profile much thinner and attractive. We also have a bigger screen and with smaller frames compared to previous generations, which translates into a more useful space for viewing text and applications.

And speaking of the screen, the Apple Watch Series 10 uses a wide-angle OLED panelwhich means it offers vivid colors, deep blacks and perfect viewing angles of 178 degrees. There are no changes to the baseline of the smartwatch or the buttons, but there are changes in dimensions as the 41mm model is now 42mm and the 45mm model becomes 46mm.

Goodbye steel, hello titanium

It was one of the most important developments. Apple Watch Series 10 will be available in a version made of aluminum, but abandons the steel finish of the previous generation and switches to titaniuma movement that makes all the sense in the world because it follows the path that Apple itself started when it started using this material in its smartphones.

This material is lighter and stronger than steel and ranks higher overall, which means Apple Watch Series 10 in titanium finish premium model which is on a different level compared to the previous versions in steel design. Its price is of course higher than that of the aluminum version.

Availability and price

Apple Watch Series 10 will be available in Spain from September 20 in six different versions with different prices. I list them in detail below:

• 46mm titanium version with GPS + LTE: 849 euros.
