An overwhelming majority of employees feel more productive in a hybrid work environment. In addition, many employees experience a stronger bond with their managers.

A survey by Zoom and Reworked INSIGHTS shows that 83 percent of employees say they are more productive in a hybrid work model than if they went to the office every day. 82 percent also feel more connected to their teams and leaders. 1,900 employees and 600 managers worldwide took part in the survey.

Technology as a challenge

64 percent of managers allow their employees to work from home on a regular basis. Three quarters of these managers plan to further relax working conditions in the next two years. In addition, 50 percent say that they have become more confident working from home since the Corona period.

Despite the positive attitude towards hybrid working, technology remains a challenge. 75 percent of employees believe that remote working technology needs to be improved. Generative AI is seen as a possible solution: 84 percent of managers and 64 percent of employees report that AI has improved productivity.
