Tesla Powerwall 2 systems started to work in the Donetsk region

Backup power of the Tesla Powerwall 2 system is provided to the internet providers of the Donetsk region.

According to Ukrinform, the Ministry of Digital Transformation reports in a Telegram.

“Tesla Powerwall 2 provides backup power to local ISPs despite constant bombardment and lack of electricity,” the statement said.

It was noted that thanks to the powerful battery and solar panels of Ilona Maska, doctors, public services, firefighters and residents of the city will stay in touch.

“Despite the full-blown war, we plan to continue helping Ukrainian ISPs work and connect people,” the ministry said.

As reported, SpaceX founder Elon Musk helped provide Ukraine with Starlink stations and satellite Internet access. It also transferred Tesla Powerwall stations to Ukraine.

Starlink Ukraine (Starlink Ukraine) received operator license.

According to US Brigadier General Stephen Booth, the Starlink equipment sent by Mask a few days after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine helped completely destroy Putin’s information campaign.
