Lenovo is launching a series of new services and solutions to accelerate enterprise AI deployment. Businesses will gain access to on-demand GPU power, AI-driven systems management, and advanced liquid cooling solutions without relying on cloud infrastructure.
Lenovo offers GPU computing power to colocation or on-premise customers with the simplicity of a cloud model. To this end, the hardware specialist is introducing GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) within the TruScale portfolio. The service enables companies to use GPU power as needed via a flexible pay-as-you-go model.
Lenovo’s TruScale GPUaaS offers companies a scalable solution to use powerful GPUs for AI and machine learning tasks. With access to NVIDIA Tensor Core GPUs such as Nvidia H100 and L40S, companies can share computing power and manage their consumption and costs. The service enables working both on-premises and in colocation environments.
Integrating GPU servers into TruScale enables access to Nvidia accelerators without the investment and complexity of traditional infrastructure. However, customers keep the hardware local, which can be interesting for latency or compliance reasons, for example.
In addition, Lenovo is launching XClarity One. With XClarity One, Lenovo integrates AI into IT operations and system management. The platform provides companies with predictive analytics for fault detection that are intended to increase the reliability and efficiency of their infrastructure.
Lenovo’s AIOps Systems Management Engine uses three predictive algorithms to detect problems early, eliminating the need for manual reviews. The platform enables organizations to easily manage their IT environment, from data centers to edge devices, through a single interface.
Finally, Lenovo Power and Cooling Services support companies with liquid cooling, which fundamentally leads to improved efficiency when running heavy AI workloads. Of course, Lenovo is mainly focused on its own mature solution: Lenovo Neptune. According to Lenovo, liquid cooling can reduce energy consumption by up to 40 percent.
