As expected, the PS5 Pro technical presentation that took place the day before yesterday, caused a number of reactionss, first impressions and evaluation of Sony’s new design within the current generation. In our case and in a race won against time, my colleague Isidro was already able to offer us a complete and very interesting comparison between the basic model and the Pro version, as well as a market analysis of what he can tell us. price of the PS5 Pro considering what we can expect from Sony’s next generation, which will take a few more years to see the light of day.

He also proposes a theory in this latest special that I agree with, and that’s it Sony may have erred on the side of pride againwhich reminds us of the bravado that was committed in the PlayStation 3 generation and what finally sweated to take on the Xbox 360. This time they are playing with an advantage that Microsoft has already given up since this generation, but this means that next time we can expect moves on tectonic level.

Consequently, and as we have already told you, The reactions that the PS5 Pro has generated have been overwhelmingly negative. The price of the console, if we want it with an optical drive, is already close to what we would have to pay for a PC with the same or higher performance, but this would also provide us with many more functions. It is of course true that we can expect an improvement in the gaming experience, but for the price it is of course the minimum that can be asked for.

Don't expect GTA 6 at 60 FPS on PS5 Pro

Does this mean, and especially considering its GPU improvements, that we can enjoy more graphical “performance” in games? Well, it’s best not to get your hopes up because, as we read in Wffcth, We shouldn’t expect GTA 6 on Ps5 Pro to run at 60fps. And this is something that, according to the mentioned publication, would determine the development and adaptation of the game to the standard models of the Sony console.

We’re obviously not talking about official information, as neither Rockstar nor Sony have commented on the matter, but all indications are that Rockstar will put the 30 frames per second in the middle that we can expect in GTA 6 on PlayStation 5, and that the improvements to using the Pro version of the console are showing in other points of its graphic part. And of course, the question is whether it will be worth the financial outlay that the PS5 Pro will bring to be limited to 30 frames per second in one of the most anticipated games of the decade. I don’t know what you will think about it, I have my doubts.
