Harvey Weinstein was accused of New Criminal Charges in New YorkThe prosecutor made the announcement in court Thursday as the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office prepares to retry the former movie mogul after his rape conviction was overturned.

Jurors found that Weinstein raped former production assistant Miriam Haley in 2006 and raped aspiring actress Jessica Mann in 2013. They are among more than 80 women accused him of sexual harassment.

California’s decision was not influenced by New York’s highest court. Weinstein has not yet begun serving his sentence in California.
