US Aeronautics and Space Administration NASA and SpaceX postponed the launch of the mission Crew-9. It is now planned “not earlier than Wednesday, September 25.” As stated in the management, the postponement was made in order to “complete pre-launch preparations and ensure separation between operations.”


The mission is expected to launch on a rocket from the SLC-40 launch complex at the Space Force Station in Cape Canaveral, Florida. SpaceX Falcon 9 and a Dragon spacecraft named Freedom.

As highlighted NASAThis is the first time a manned space mission has been launched from this site. Additional launch opportunities will be offered on Thursday, September 26, Friday, September 27 and Saturday, September 28.

Crew Crew-9 will spend about five months in orbit. They will conduct spacewalks, as well as experiments and research demonstrations. Return is planned for February 2025.
