A number of renders have leaked showing what the final design of the Galaxy S25 could be, and it’s clear that it’s not going to represent any revolution over the Galaxy S24. If what we see in these images is true, Samsung’s new product will be completely new continuity and with minimal changes compared to the current generation.

We start at the back. The Galaxy S25 has same flat design and the same layout of three cameras arranged vertically with the flash a little to the right. If we look closely, we find the only difference that this new terminal will present, and that is that the cameras have a ring finish on the outside, which is similar to the one we also saw in the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

Now we jump to the frame and we don’t see any changes compared to the Galaxy S24, as it has the same flat surface and corners with a rounded touch. More of the same on the front, as we have a all flat screen formats and a circular island in the middle where the front camera is integrated.

Leaked measurements suggest that the Galaxy S25 will be a little smaller than the Galaxy S24, but the differences will be minimal as the former measures 147 x 70.6 x 7.6 mm and the latter will measure 146.9 x 70.4 x 7.2 mm. We do not expect changes in the quality of materials, so the new Samsung smartphone should be built in aluminum and glass.

Hardware improvements on the Galaxy S25

The most important thing will be in SoC changebecause this new smartphone will have Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. Some rumors say that Samsung could also use Exynos 2500, but this is not fully confirmed yet, so we will have to wait and see what happens. In any case, the important thing is that the Galaxy S25 debuts with a new SoC, either the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 or the Exynos 2500.

An increase in RAM is also expected, which could happen from 8 GB of the current model to 12 GB of RAM. This change would be important to improve longevity and performance with the Galaxy AI, but it’s not confirmed either, so it’s possible that Samsung will repeat the 8GB configuration.

At the moment, there is nothing to indicate important changes to the camera or screen configuration and storage capacity of the base model it should stay at 128GB. The entire Galaxy S25 family will be launched between January and February 2025 and prices are expected to be very similar to the current generation at the time of launch.
