The crew members include Commander Jared Isaacman, Pilot Scott “Kidd” Poteet, and Mission Specialists Sarah Gillis and Anna Menon. Isaacman is the billionaire entrepreneur behind Polaris Dawn, Poteet is a former U.S. Air Force lieutenant colonel, and Gillis and Menon are SpaceX engineers. Polaris Dawn will spend approximately five days in orbit.
