Instagram Reels can easily become a distraction, especially if you allow the app to send you Reels suggestions via notifications. Disabling these suggestions will reduce the temptation to open the app every time something new appears. You’ll still see Reels while actively scrolling through Instagram, but it will help you spend less time in the app.

How to close Reels offers:

  • Open Instagram and go to: Settings.
  • Select Statement > Live Streams and Reels.
  • Close Recommended reels for you And Latest uploaded ReelsTo stop receiving Reels notifications.

Quiet mode is a great feature for limiting distractions during certain hours. When enabled, Instagram will pause notifications and instead give you a summary of interactions at the end of your designated quiet period.

How to turn on silent mode:
