According to GSMArena.com, the 12 Ultra will use the same camera hardware as the Mi 11 Ultra. That is, they will install a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS, ultra-wide-angle and telephoto lens, both of which have a resolution of 48 MP. There will be another additional component – the 3D ToF sensor, the selfie camera will be 20 megapixels.

The display panel appears to be taken from the Xiaomi 12 Pro, a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate (the previous Ultra had a 6.81-inch panel without LTPO).

The smartphone will be based on the new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset with 8/12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256/512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The role of the operating system will be Android 12 with MIUI 13 installed on top.

It can be charged with a 4800 mAh battery, a 67-watt fast charger and a 50-watt wireless charger. Recall that this year’s Pro model has a 120-watt lead charge, and some early rumors said the Ultra would offer a similar option.

The price is still unknown, the date of announcement is also, but the last one is expected in July.
