Xiaomi introduced new affordable 4K smart TVs from its sub-brand Redmi. Redmi Smart Fire TV originally launched with a 32-inch screen and FHD resolution. Now the Chinese brand produces more expensive models with 4K resolution and 43 and 55-inch diagonals. They support 4K HDR, MEMC technology, Dolby Audio and DTS: Virtual X technology.
The 55-inch Redmi Smart Fire TV 4K received 30-watt speakers, while the 43-inch version received a 24-watt sound system. The equipment includes a quad-core chip with Cortex-A55 cores, 2 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal flash memory.
Users get the Redmi Voice Remote that supports Alexa and has dedicated buttons for Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, and Amazon Music. Other features include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack, HDMI 2.1 and V1, H.265, H.264, and MPEG1/2/4 codec support. Priced at $300 and $430 respectively.
