The European Union Advisory Mission delivered modern IT equipment to the National Police of Ukraine (NPU).

According to Ukrinform, the press service of the National Pedagogical University provided information on this on Facebook.

“The National Police has received EUAM Ukraine computer equipment necessary for a comprehensive digital and information technology system, corresponding to the agency’s priority in the direction of digitization,” the statement said.

Especially European partners have so far sold laptops, tablets, smartphones, software, etc. They handed him over to the Ukrainian police.

Among other things, it is stated that this technique will help create mobile jobs for pre-trial investigation, criminal investigation units, information and analytical support units.

Antti Hartikainen, head of the EUMC in Ukraine, stressed that since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, the National Police and other law enforcement and defense forces of Ukraine have shown and continue to show extraordinary courage and courage. .

According to the head of the EUMC in Ukraine, Ukrainians now show the world extraordinary determination, readiness to defend their land and fight for freedom and European values.

“Your resilience is outstanding. But unfortunately your struggle is not over yet. Support from international partners is needed and it will continue to come in different forms. We will continue to be with you,” Hartikainen said.

He also expressed hope that with the help of this transferred equipment, the Russo-Ukrainian war will be the most documented war in history. “We believe that information technology plays an extremely important role in this regard,” said the head of the EUMC in Ukraine. said.

NPU representative Vasyl Teterya also thanked EUMC representatives for the mission’s support of the National Police over the years. According to the police, we will only be able to win with the latest equipment: both in weapons and equipment.

“The equipment was especially damaged by the Russian attack, the regional troops will be distributed to the troops we lost. Only then can we defeat our enemy. You are with us, we hope for more partnerships and more friendly relations” – stated in the message.

The transfer of equipment took place within the framework of the international technical assistance project “Operational support in the provision of strategic advice on the reform of the civil security sector of Ukraine”.

During his presidency of the Council of the European Union, France reportedly coordinated the supply of computer equipment to the Ukrainian government. Thus, more than 12,000 IT equipment was transported by road to Poland and then transferred to the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
