LG Electronics has announced the new LG MyView 34SR60QC computer monitor, which expands on a new range of monitors it launched this year, which the company describes as “smart” with integrated support for streaming services via webOS and access to cloud productivity services such as Microsoft 365 .

LG MyView 34SR60QC, features

It is the first monitor in this series to use a 21:9 ultra-wide curved display. Personally, we love these panoramas when looking for a better workflow, more visual immersion, or both. The 21:9 UltraWide display provides additional horizontal screen space, allowing users to keep multiple tabs and windows open at the same time and optimally organize them using Split screen integrated.

The LG monitor uses a panel 34 inches VA native resolution diagonal WQHD (3440 x 1440 pixels) and a refresh rate of 100 Hz has a brightness of 300 nits, a wide viewing angle and 99 percent coverage of the sRGB color range. These specs combined with the 21:9 aspect ratio make up the LG MyView “a great side-by-side desk companion for office workers, developers and other digital professionals”they say from LG.

Users can take advantage of applications such as e-mail, online document editors and cloud storage directly on the monitor without having to connect to a PC or laptop. The extra width of the 34SR60QC allows users to run productivity apps in full-screen mode (16:9) and still have enough room for useful generative AI tools that can be conveniently docked to the right side of the screen in a smaller window size (5:9).

Like all LG MyView smart monitors, the 34SR60QC includes the webOS operating system that provides access to a wide range of content servicesincluding Netflix, YouTube and Prime Video, personalized viewing recommendations and intuitive navigation. In addition, LG Channels free premium content service includes more than 300 channels covering categories such as movies, news, sports, drama and children’s programs.

Plus, with AirPlay 2 and ScreenShare support, users can stream or mirror content from their smartphones and enjoy all their favorite mobile apps and games on the monitor’s large curved screen. The price of the new LG MyView is u 329 dollars and is now available in some regions of the world.
