Anyone who owns an iPad Pro M4 will have to wait a little longer for iPadOS 18. Apple is pausing the rollout of this update after some users reported that their device crashed during the update.

After the long-awaited launch of the new major software update by Apple, there now seem to be problems with the iPadOS 18 update. Users with an iPad Pro M4 are having problems updating to iPadOS-18, which causes their device to crash. Apple has therefore paused the update and is currently looking for a solution.

iPad Pro M4 freezes

Apple users are currently unable to install the iPadOS 18 update for the M4 iPad Pro. Apple temporarily halted the rollout after receiving numerous complaints about device crashes during the update.

However, there are also users who seem to have no problems. There are several stories circulating on Reddit about successful and failed attempts to install the update. A consistent factor among the devices that were successful is that they skipped the iPadOS 17.7 update and downloaded iPadOS18 straight away. Apple is currently investigating what the problem is.
