We get an important leak from Reddit that contains so much final design Nintendo Switch 2 as some of its most important specifications. We knew that Nintendo wouldn’t be making major changes to the design of this console, and the leaked renders reinforce that theory, as you can see in the attached images.

Nintendo Switch 2 button layout It is practically identical to the original model, We have two analog sticks, one on each side, located at different heights, which I always felt was a success, as it is much more convenient to play titles that require the use of both sticks, and it also allows access to the X, A, B and Y buttons .

The most important differences I see in this render from the original model are the curvature of the JoyCon, which seems a bit more pronounced, and on the edges of the screen, which have been greatly reduced in a render of the Nintendo Switch 2. We have no information about the quality of the materials, but it is likely that this console will repeat the plastic design.

On the back, we can better appreciate the changes in the Nintendo Switch 2 series, which gives a sense of being more elongated and stylized. Again, its corners stand out, which have a more pronounced curve, I also see that both triggers remain almost identical, but I see changes to the two rear buttons. Ignore the support for the original Nintendo Switch in the picture, it is an add-on.

In this next image we can also see small changes such as the presence of a USB Type-C connector next to the 3.5mm jack and an area with holes to facilitate air flow and improve the cooling of the console, which is more different from that of the Nintendo Switch. The openings are narrower but cover a larger area.
