The MSI Cubi NUC is a series of minicomputers from a Taiwanese manufacturer and is powered by various generations of computing platforms from Intel or AMD. If the NUC M and N launched at the beginning of the year used the latest Intel processors, now MSI is betting on older CPUs, but with more performance and the possibility to equip the VPro series, which includes security features and software management.

The MSI Cubi NUC 13 follows the same design line with a small chassis 136 x 133 x 50 mm and a focus on core computing, both for consumer desktops and home or business offices. In fact, this type of device is suitable for all types of users in different types of use.

For this series, the manufacturer relies on Intel Raptor Lake processors with the possibility of fitting models such as Core i5-1345U or Core i7-1365Uboth with integrated Iris Xe graphics. They can fit up to 64 GB of DDR5-5200 memory in two SODIMM slots and for storage they have an M.2 2280 SSD, an empty slot for another 2242 SSD and a bay for 2.5” SATA hard drives/solid state drives. .

In terms of connectivity, they have Intel AX211 wireless cards with support for Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. They also have rear and front ports, two Thunderbolt 4, two 2.5 GbE Ethernet, two HDMI ports, a 3.5 mm audio jack and a microSD memory card reader.

Thanks to the integration of vPro technology, these new Cubi NUC 13MQ offer advanced functions such as remote management, greater robustness in terms of security or operational stability, and therefore focus on companies, kiosks, digital signage or customer service, although they can also be used in home offices.

MSI also launches the NUC 1M series, identical to the NUC 13 in terms of chassis, memory, storage and connectivity, but with a difference in processors, here with Core 7 150U, Core 5 120U or Core 3 100U. All versions pre-install Windows 11 Home or Pro Available on the MSI web portal and at authorized retailers.
