Red Dead Redemption, closer than ever to PC

Something really curious is going to happen with Red Dead Redemption, and I’ve seen it happen on several occasions. And if I mention it in front of a few people, It just so happens that these are thinking directly of RDR 2a title that Rockstar released in late 2018 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and took just over a year to make its way to PC. And it is normal that people remember Red Dead Redemption 2, because it is a magnificent game in every sense, it attracts a little attention that its predecessor fell into oblivion.

It was originally launched in 2010, although with new versions hitting the market later, the main reason I can think of is that for whatever reason Rockstar never ported it to PCeven though the more than general opinion was that it would be a big success, as it always is when a game from the company hits any platform. Of course, this led to rumors pointing to said jump multiplying all these years.

However, as you already know In recent years, Rockstar has focused almost exclusively on the development of the highly anticipated GTA 6postponing and canceling some projects that were on the waiting list, or so the rumors told us. And unfortunately for those who were waiting for the original Red Dead Redemption to come to PC, it was one of the projects that was usually put on the delayed/cancelled list. So the margin for hope was unfortunately quite low.

However, recently rumors have resurfaced that the project has been revived, and now we find what we can call a random official confirmation. And as Twitter user Tez2 found out in this tweet, Rockstar has included metadata and a link to the (future) Red Dead Redemption Steam page in its PC launcher. Evidence, both of which make it clear to us that this port It’s very real and it could be very close too.

The “bad news” is that Red Dead Redemption’s PC Steam page (which didn’t yet list the game’s title) is “hidden”so it is not possible to check it and check if updates are made in it. However, it is possible to get some info on her in SteamDB and of course add her to our watchlist in case there is an interesting update.
