HarfangLab Guard sees the light of day: Endpoint protection and EDR in one

HarfangLab introduces HarfangLab Guard, a combined Endpoint Protection Platform (EPP) and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solution. This new offering provides both automated protection and comprehensive threat detection to better protect organizations from cyberattacks.

HarfangLab Guard combines the automatic threat blocking of EPP with the detailed detection capabilities of EDR. This approach is a response to the increasing complexity of IT environments as organizations need to secure more and more access points. This integration allows analysts to focus on more complex threats while EPP’s automatic protection handles simple attacks.

HarfangLab has enhanced its existing EDR solution, now renamed HarfangLab Track, with an antivirus engine and firewall within HarfangLab Guard. This new solution provides organizations with complete on-premises protection with advanced features such as network filtering and file scanning.

Extensive functionalities

The main advantages of HarfangLab Guard are the use of artificial intelligence to detect unknown threats and the integration of multiple security layers through a single software agent. This helps optimize endpoint security without placing additional burden on the IT infrastructure. Analysts can also use open detection and blocking rules, which makes the solution easily adaptable to existing security processes.

HarfangLab focuses on user-friendly, efficient security solutions that are easy to integrate without requiring system reboots for updates.
