According to reports, Warrior Technology announced that the Warrior 917 Dragon Armor hardcore off-road model shared with the movie “Operation Dragon” (formerly “Operation Red Sea 2”) will be revealed on September 24. The car is available for pre-order and is priced at RMB 768,000-868,000.
The car is painted in Desert Storm Yellow military paint, with a contrasting silver roof, a flat waterfall grille, a dragon’s tooth bionic shape, fully enclosed rotor forged wheels, and front and rear military-style wide wheel arches. There are lightweight railings at the front and a multifunctional spare wheel bracket at the rear. The spare wheel bracket also provides a flagpole extension and a high-mounted brake light bracket.
The vehicle is also equipped with a multifunctional rear tow hook, an integrated socket for a van and a maximum load capacity of 2.5 tonnes. It can tow vans, motorcycles, speedboats etc.
The car uses aviation forged carbon fiber materials to cover key parts such as front and rear metal bumpers, front hood and sliding roof platform. The rest of the configuration is the same as the original Dongfeng Warrior 917.
This new car has a length, width and height of 5052x2150x2059 mm, a wheelbase of 2950 mm and a five-seater layout. The Warrior 917 currently on sale has a length, width and height of 4987/2080/1935 mm and a wheelbase of 2950 mm respectively. Although the wheelbase remains the same, the Dragon Armor version has a slightly larger exterior.
In addition, the vehicle can be equipped with optional wheel covers, side tool boxes, roof platforms, auxiliary high beams, front profile lights, rear profile lights, trailer eyelets, electrical connectors and other configurations. The vehicle uses a 1.5T range extender system, and the maximum power of the range extender is 145 kilowatts. These figures correspond to the maximum 1.5T range extender capacity of the models sold.
