Belgian IT services provider Easi has acquired the intellectual property rights of Tailorfit. This acquisition further expands Easi’s software offering and officially came into effect in September 2024.
Belgian IT services provider Easi has acquired the intellectual property rights of Tailorfit. This acquisition further expands Easi’s software offering and officially came into effect in September 2024.
Easi has made several acquisitions in recent years to expand its offering. Last year, the IT company expanded in Luxembourg with the acquisition of Kozalys. Now Easi sees great potential in Tailorfit, an ERP solution specializing in the fashion industry, which expands the company’s portfolio.
Tailorfit offers extensive features such as a detailed Parts listFunctionality that enables traceability of each component throughout its entire lifecycle. The software also includes an advanced cost tool. Raf Hernalsteen, Business Unit Director at Easi, emphasizes that these Tailorfit features are a great addition to Easi’s existing Adfinity software.
Easi stresses that it already has the operational teams in place to ensure seamless support for Tailorfit. The software will be hosted on Cloud2be, Easi’s own cloud solution. The acquisition fits with Easi’s core activities, which focus on selling, maintaining and optimising software.
According to co-CEO Thomas Van Eeckhout, Easi wants to ensure continuity for existing Tailorfit customers. The company plans new agreements for the software in 2025. A large part of the current Tailorfit customers are already part of the Easi ecosystem, which should ensure a smooth transition, according to Van Eeckhout.
In the medium term, Easi plans to use the software outside the fashion industry, in industries where product development and production are essential. In combination with Adfinity, Easi can offer a complete solution for various industries.
