Google integrates the Gemini AI app into its Workspace for Business, Enterprise and Frontline corporate plans.

Millions of Workspace customers can now use the Gemini AI app in their Business Workspace, Google announced in a blog post. Google emphasizes that it adheres to the organization’s privacy, security, and compliance policies. With this integration, Workspace customers no longer need to add a separate Gemini add-on. The app is now standard in the Workspace productivity suite.

Google announced that its Gemini AI will be a core part of the Workspace productivity suite. The standalone Gemini app will be included as standard in Workspace Business, Enterprise and Frontline subscriptions starting in Q4, eliminating the need for users to add a separate Gemini add-on.

“With enterprise-grade privacy built in, employees everywhere can save time and produce higher quality work safely and compliantly with an AI-powered assistant at work,” Google said. Admin controls give customers choice and control over how the Gemini app processes user prompts and generated responses, emphasizing that Gemini does not use this enterprise information to train Gemini models.
