German company AVM has finally launched in Spain the FRITZ!Box 5690 Pro, a high-performance Wi-Fi 7-compatible tri-band router capable of speeds of up to up to 18.5 Gbps combining its three bands (1,200 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band, 5,760 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 11,530 Mbps on the 6 GHz band).

This launch is one of the most important AMV in Spain, as this router is one of the models more advanced and higher performance German companies. It is designed to optimally cover the needs of any user profile, even the most demanding, and comes with a number of advanced technologies that make it one of the best routers in its category, among which we can highlight:

• Multilink operation technology (MLO), which allows data to be sent and received simultaneously in several frequency bands to avoid interference.
• Networking supportwhich allows repeaters and adapters to be combined with a router configuration to extend wireless coverage to every corner of the home or office, making devices automatically connect to the best available network.
• DECT function, IP/SIP telephony and also an analogue telephone connection (FXS) which allows it to be effortlessly converted into a telephone exchange. Supports one analog phone and up to six cordless phones.

The configuration process is very simple and we will also be able to connect it directly to our provider’s fiber modem using bridge mode.

This router has a port WAN that operates at 2.5 Gbpswhich means we can enjoy a very powerful optical connection. To complement the array of wired options, we also have four Gigabit LAN ports and one USB 3.1 port. The latter will allow us to connect various accessories and peripherals, such as an external storage unit that can be used as a NAS.
