Smith presented on August 27 new charge maintaining four previous charges against him, such as conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, but reducing the number of charges under this ruling.

Judge Chutkan ordered Trump’s lawyers state your objections according to the proposed wording on Tuesday and set a deadline of Oct. 10 to file any objections to Smith’s request.
