With Qnap’s new QVR Recording Vault solution, companies can store and centrally manage surveillance recordings long-term and without license costs.
Qnap announces QVR Record Vault, a new (beta) solution for surveillance video backup. The system allows you to use a NAS as a backup server to store recordings from various endpoints, such as: B. QVR Pro and QVR Elite recording servers.
This solution can be integrated into the existing infrastructure of the monitoring system without any adjustments. This makes it easier to manage and archive footage from multiple locations.
By using a central NAS solution, companies can efficiently distribute storage capacity between their headquarters and remote locations. Recordings are automatically backed up, including metadata. This ensures administrators can quickly and easily find, play and manage footage from a desktop or mobile application.
No royalties
The new offering is completely royalty-free. QVR Recording Vault offers businesses the flexibility to connect as many endpoint servers as needed at no additional cost. In addition, there are extensive options for adapting the storage period of the images to your own needs. The solution allows administrators to easily configure backup settings and monitor storage status.
The QVR Recording Vault beta program is now open to users of QNAP’s QVR Pro and QVR Elite recording servers. This allows these companies to be the first to test the new functionality of this backup solution.
