Philips is expanding its Evnia 5000 gaming monitor range with two new models Philips Evnia 27M2C5501 27″ (68.5 cm) and 32M2C5501 31.5″ (80 cm).
Both models use screens with technology Quick VAimprovement of traditional VA panels, which, while maintaining the high speed of the panel, allows to improve image quality, contrast and other parameters, such as an increased color range or compatibility with VESA DisplayHDR.
The new Evnia 5000 offers native resolution Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) in the mentioned diagonal sizes of 27 and 32 inches. The latter offers what for many users is one of the most balanced configurations between size and resolution of the multiple configurations that current monitors allow.
The refresh rate of the monitors is 180 Hztheir response time of only 0.5 milliseconds and support for Adaptive-Sync image synchronization technology, which enables them in computer games. They support HDR10 high dynamic range features and feature Ambiglow, Philips’ RGB lighting that can direct colors to follow video content and reflect the user experience. They have the usual inputs, HDMI and Display Port, as well as a USB hub with upstream and downstream ports
Both models are equipped with LowBlue and Flicker-Free modes against blue light and an anti-reflective coating to reduce eye fatigue. They have an ergonomic base that is adjustable for height, tilt and rotation to allow you to find the ideal position for each user.
New Evnia 5000, prices and availability
- The 27M2C5501 monitor is available to buy now for an RRP of £219.99 (262 euros)
- The 32M2C5501 monitor is also available to buy for an RRP of £259.99 (310 euros)
In Spain, they should arrive soon on the Philips web portal and a dedicated IT channel.
