The project to bring Bloodborne to PC continues to progress and is so advanced that if it keeps up the current pace, it could be finished and properly optimized. at the end of this month. To show what has been achieved so far, a comparison video has been shared showing the emulated version on PC versus the original game running on PS5.
The version of Bloodborne for PC that appears in the video is standard, ie. does not contain any graphical enhancements compared to the original version. The most important difference between the two is that the emulated version on PC runs at 60 FPSmaking it run much smoother than the original game.
Bloodborne for PS4 runs at 30 FPS and the same happens if we run it on PS5. This game did not receive any type of patch nor special optimization for PS4 Pro or PS5, so it works pretty much the same on all Sony consoles. We can see in the video that the emulation of this game is very advanced and it seems that it can now be played almost completely without any serious problems.
I have already told you about this in previous messages. Right now, there are several mods confirmed that we can apply to Bloodborne emulated on PC and this will allow us to noticeably improve its graphic quality. The most interesting ones include one to improve the quality of textures, another that will apply edge smoothing and two others that will improve lighting and shadows.
With all these mods applied and with the ability to play at 60 FPS or more, the PC emulated version of Bloodborne practically becomes a remaster of the original game. This game works so well with shadPS4 emulator V0.3.1, which is one of the best for porting PS4 games to PC right now and which they focused on when optimizing this game.
The whole process of optimizing Bloodborne emulation on PC may take more time and may not be fully completed sooner November or December of this yearbut even so, the development it experienced was so impressive that it took less than three months to go from just reaching the home screen to being almost fully playable.
Sony had a unique opportunity to make a Bloorborne Remaster, but he thought the future was Concord and he did not hesitate to bet a huge amount of money on this card. We all know what the outcome was.
