He US Supreme Court admitted resource of the largest companies weapons manufacturers American protests against adoption demand millionaire by Mexicowhich accuses these companies of facilitating the flow of weapons intended for drug cartels.

Mexico condemns companies’ choice intentionally for “careless and illegal” trading which encourages drug trafficking and violence in the country, for which it demands 10 billion dollars as damages.

There was a complaint initially rejected federal court, but in the second instance the case was decided against the subject’s companies Smith and Wesson, Barrett, Beretta, Glock, Interstate weapons or foal.

With its decision, the US Supreme Court will have to decide whether immunity companies that manufacture these weapons under the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act of 2005. The final decision may be known in summer 2025.

According to the Mexican government, from 200 thousand to 750 thousand weapons produced by these companies they enter their territory annually by smuggling came from the USA.
