New Vitals program Apple For watchOS 11, it impressed users with its ability to detect potential illnesses days before symptoms appear.
Additional Apple WatchIt provides early warning of impending illnesses, as reported by Apple Watch owners who analyzed key health indicators measured during sleep over the past seven days. The application is available at: Apple Watch Series 8 and newer models, including the Apple Watch Ultra series, if the devices run watchOS 11.
“I started using Vitals when it first came out in beta and have gotten sick twice since then. “Even though I didn’t experience any symptoms either time, the app knew about it within a few days,” says Reddit user RCG21.
The Vitals app displays metrics like heart rate, respiratory rate, wrist temperature, sleep duration, and blood oxygen levels. Vitals creates a typical range for each user over time and notifies them when values fall outside that range.
A second user, dalethomas81, said: “I woke up feeling sick today. Now, as evening falls, that old, familiar feeling appears in my mind. I got sick.” The screenshot showed many measurements outside the normal range a few days before the user reported feeling unwell.
TizianosBoy writes: “My watch knew I wasn’t 100% healthy after COVID and the flu shot because all three of my key readings (wrist temperature, heart rate, and respiratory rate) were in the abnormal range, and that’s how I realized: I wasn’t feeling well, which is weird, frankly.” .”
Regarding the measurement, one user noted that the app did not pre-identify his disease, suggesting that individual results may vary.
