As part of the new tests, another step will be taken to make Starship fully and quickly reusable. The main purpose of the flight will be to return the Super Heavy booster to the launch pad and capture it with the “hands” of the shuttle tower, as well as an attempt to re-enter the atmosphere and bring the Starship to the Indian Ocean. as in the previous test.

SpaceX also emphasized that engineers have completely redesigned the ship’s heat shield using next-generation tiles. They must ensure the possibility of reuse.
