Images of some screen protectors posted by one of the filters that usually fail allow us to confirm three versions of the Galaxy S25 and their different screen sizes and external designs.

Accessories, covers, protectors… which have to be designed and manufactured before smartphones come to market, have been an indirect source of improving some of their features. Don’t ask how (probably due to contacts on Asian production lines), but they have it very, very right.

Galaxy S25 version

Samsung is expected to launch its new high-end models in early 2025, repeating the same versions of the S24: S25, S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra. No major development is expected in terms of formats and their screens will continue to be dynamic AMOLED with screen sizes between 6.1 and 6.8 inches.

Galaxy S25 version

As we can see on the leaked Ice Universe v X protectors, the design of the two basic versions will not change even with those rounded corners. The Ultra version will change in favor of a more curved design (the S24 with its pointed corners was not very comfortable to hold), although not as comfortable as its siblings, probably due to the need to make room for the S-Pen stylus.

Screen bezels will be minimal on the Galaxy S25, especially the Ultra version that Samsung is most interested in, and is expected to be thinner and lighter than the previous model. The series will also be tougher, with protection provided by Corning’s Gorilla Glass Armor.

The volume buttons will be on the right edge, just below the power button. The SIM card slot will be on the left side, with the antenna bands at the top and bottom. The USB Type-C port and speaker grille will continue to be located at the bottom of the terminals.

He talks about other details that are appearing on the internet (unconfirmed). strategic messages insideusing MediaTek chipsets as the hardware engine for entry-level versions (Dimensity 9400 or higher), while the Ultra would pack Qualcomm’s most advanced SoC. We will confirm everything in mid-January 2025.
