One person died and 12 others were trapped 300 meters underground on Thursday after the elevator in an old building broke down. Colorado gold mine which is now a tourist attraction, authorities said.
Another 11 people were rescued from the Molly Catlin Mine in Cripple Creek, Colorado, Teller County Sheriff Jason Mikesell told reporters.
