MSI MPG Infinite X3 AI and MSI MEG Vision desktop computers from the Taiwanese manufacturer to the release of the Arrow Lake-S processors that Intel introduced yesterday.
These desktops are powered by Intel Core Ultra (Series 2) processors with integrated Neural Processing Units (NPUs) along with NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics cards. “This powerful combination provides increased performance for both AI-accelerated gaming and complex processing tasks aimed at optimizing gaming experiences.”says the company in the announcement.

If you’re wondering where MSI uses those AI features it’s promoting, it should be said that it extends them to cooling as networks. Ventilation system Silent Storm Cooling AI it uses independent air chambers for each component and uses sophisticated algorithms to optimize fan speed curves. This system effectively manages heat and ensures consistently high performance during longer games without thermal limitation. In networks, the Intel Killer integrated with MSI Lan Manager optimizes network performance by intelligently prioritizing traffic. This ensures a more responsive and uninterrupted online gaming experience.

Another section for AI features, exclusive to the MEG Vision X AI in this case, is the innovative AI HMI feature. This system includes a 13.3 inch touch screen which functions as a private and cloud-based AI assistant as well as a secondary display. Through this app, users can benefit from intuitive controls and personalized experiences that enhance creativity and productivity.

Other features, aside from the impressive aesthetics you see in the images, include an additional integrated 8-pin PCIe power connector that ensures stable and sustained GPU performance for power-intensive AI computing tasks. With support for the ATX 3.1 power supply standard and capable of handling up to 2.5x power deviation, this configuration provides the extra power needed for high-performance GPUs to maintain maximum efficiency during heavy gaming sessions.

As for the internal hardware as mentioned. In the CPU you can equip up to the top of the range, Intel Core Ultra 9 285Kwith 20 processor cores, which include eight “Lion Cove” performance cores and 16 “Skymont” efficient cores, with a maximum working frequency of up to 5.5 GHz, although the neural processing unit (NPU) is only 13 TOPS, it can be combined with an impressive dedicated graphics capacity that can be equipped up to GeForce RTX 4090the fastest on the consumer market.
MSI MPG Infinite X3 AI is available from this week in France, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom and Poland. The system is expected to be available in other countries from November 2024. The launch of the MEG Vision X AI is planned for the first quarter of 2025.
