Canva will expand the old pricing for early users of Canva Teams. At the same time, the company is introducing a new price promise that puts honesty and transparency at the heart of future pricing decisions.
Canva announced today that first-time users of the Canva Teams plan will retain their original rates. Last month it introduced a new pricing structure where teams of three or more pay $10 per person per month. This was introduced to reflect the added value of the product, the brand said.
However, community feedback suggested that this transition happened too quickly for some early users. As a “thank you” for their loyalty, these users will now keep their original tariff without any further action.
Introduction of a price promise
In addition to increasing the old price for first-time users, Canva is introducing a new “Price Promise.” This promises affordable pricing with no hidden fees for both premium plans and free options for individuals, nonprofits, and schools.
Additionally, future price changes will be announced at least 60 days in advance and regional pricing takes into account local economic conditions.
