Adobe will unveil the latest update to Frame.io with improved workflows and new integrations within the Camera to Cloud ecosystem at the Adobe MAX event.
Adobe unveiled an updated version of Frame.io during the Adobe MAX conference. This update focuses on streamlining collaboration for creative teams and now includes support for video, photography, and design. Additionally, Canon, Nikon and Leica have joined Frame.io’s Camera to Cloud ecosystem, providing a faster, more secure way to send media from set to post-production teams. The latest version of Frame.io launches today.
Creative workflows
The new version of Frame.io expands its application possibilities to photography and design in addition to the existing video functionalities. This allows teams to centrally manage media and assets and organize feedback sessions more efficiently. Additionally, Frame.io introduces improved metadata workflows that make it easier for creative teams to navigate their projects and organize assets into “collections.” This simplifies the management of assessments and approvals, for example.
Adobe also announced new partners for the camera-to-cloud ecosystem, including Canon, Nikon and Leica. With these integrations, teams can now upload media directly from the camera to the cloud without the need for physical media. This significantly speeds up the process from recording to post-production.
Better collaboration
Frame.io is used by more than four million users worldwide, including well-known brands like Google and Pepsi. The new generation offers improved streaming options, faster previews and updated integrations with Adobe Premiere Pro and Lightroom. Creative teams can now more easily edit photo and video files and process feedback, increasing production speed and streamlining collaboration across locations.
