Cognizant recently acquired Belcan due to its position in mechanical engineering and aerospace to strengthen. Now the company is announcing that it is merging with cybersecurity firm Palo Alto Networks. With this collaboration, both companies aim to use AI to improve cybersecurity services. The aim is to help companies strengthen their digital security.

Better cybersecurity

Cognizant’s partnership with Palo Alto Networks will enable the company to expand its services using platforms such as the Precision AI-powered network security platform and the Palo Alto Networks security operations platform. These technologies help customers bundle complex security products to simplify and strengthen their cybersecurity.

According to Cognizant CEO Ravi Kumar S, AI offers the opportunity to augment human efforts and protect organizations from ever-evolving threats. With this partnership, customers can benefit from advanced security technologies and tailored support aimed at reducing risks and improving their security posture.

New platform services

Cognizant is launching four new services focused on different aspects of cybersecurity under the name SecureNXT:

• SecureNXT access: Provides AI-driven network security through Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access.
• SecureNXT Cloud: Focuses on secure multi-cloud and hybrid environments with Palo Alto Networks Prisma Cloud.
• SecureNXT EDR/MDR: Delivers threat protection for the modern workplace with Palo Alto Networks Cortex XDR.
• SecureNXT SOC: Provides real-time threat protection through Palo Alto Networks Cortex XSIAM.

These services help customers strengthen their cybersecurity strategy through identity management, threat detection, governance and cloud security. Cognizant strengthens its position in the cybersecurity sector by working closely with technology partners such as Palo Alto Networks.
