D-Link has launched two new Wi-Fi 6 Enterprise Access Points: the indoor DAP-X3060 and the outdoor DAP-X3060OU. Both models offer high performance and efficient network management.

The DAP-X3060 and DAP-X3060OU support WiFi 6 (not WiFi 7). The dual-band technology enables speeds of up to 3 Gbit/s, spread over the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz frequency bands. 2.5 Gbit/s + 0.5 Gbit/s actually gives a more correct picture, as over the 5 GHz band a maximum speed of 2.4 Gbit/s and over the 2.4 GHz band a speed of up to 574 Mbit/s is possible.

Even on busy networks, this should result in fast and stable data flow. Both models are equipped with technologies such as Band Steering and MU-MIMO, which contribute to efficient network usage, especially when multiple devices are connected at the same time.

Inside and outside

The DAP-X3060 is designed for indoor use and can be easily installed using Power over Ethernet (PoE). This eliminates the need for a socket and the device can be used flexibly.

The DAP-X3060OU is suitable for outdoor use and features a rugged, weatherproof housing that provides protection from extreme weather conditions (-30°C to 60°C), dust and water. This model is certified to the IP68 standard, which means it remains operational even in heavy rain and extreme temperatures.

Both models are compatible with D-Link’s Nuclias Connect, a centralized network management platform. The network is easily managed and optimized via an intuitive dashboard, including insight into traffic statistics and reports. Additionally, the access points offer a customizable guest access portal that allows visitors easy access to the network.

The DAP-X3060 is available now for 176 euros, while the DAP-X3060OU can be purchased from November for 345 euros. The prices include VAT.
