OpenAI’s ChatGPT app is now available in the Microsoft Store. This app is currently only available for ChatGPT Plus, Team, Enterprise and Edu users and is in its initial phase.

OpenAI releases a Windows version of its ChatGPT app. The application is already available in the Microsoft Store for users with a ChatGPT Plus, Teams, Enterprise and Edu subscription. The company says the application is still in its early stages. The full ChatGPT app experience for Microsoft will be available to all users later this year.

ChatGPT app for Windows

A few months ago, OpenAI made its ChatGPT app available to all Apple users. Now the company is announcing the launch of the ChatGPT app in the Microsoft Store. The app is still in an early version, but users with a ChatGPT Plus, Team, Enterprise and Edu subscription can already try it out.

The application can be used similarly to the web version. Additionally, you can easily open a separate chat window by pressing the Alt + Spacebar key combination. In addition, it is possible to generate images or upload files and a preview of the new o1 model appears.

The ChatGPT app for Windows currently has some limitations. For example, it does not yet support any language and some integrations with OpenAI’s GPT Store are not yet functional.

OpenAI says the current app is in early stages. The full experience is expected to be available to all users later this year. This link allows users to try out the early version of the Windows app.
