“Italian luxury automaker Ferrari plans to make 60% of its models hybrid or all-electric by 2026 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2030,” the publication said.
It is stated that by 2026, 40% of Ferrari models will have internal combustion engines. And by 2030, Ferrari aims to achieve its target of 40 percent all-electric cars, 40 percent hybrids and 20 percent internal combustion engines.
The first fully electric Ferrari car is scheduled to be introduced in 2025.
The electric motors will be developed in Maranello, where Ferrari is headquartered. The automaker also plans to build a separate “e-building” that will produce electric motors and batteries.
