We’ve been talking about the iPhone 17 Air, also known as the iPhone 17 Slim, for a while now, a smartphone that’s still a big little mystery, although the latest rumors give us a bit more clarity what could it be exactly and how it would be placed in the Apple catalog.

• It will be thinner than other iPhone 17s and could also be lighter than these, although it is not known whether Apple will use aluminum or titanium in its chassis.

If these specifications are met, the iPhone 17 Air would be, broadly speaking, a model halfway between iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Plus, though the design and finishes would put it among the premium models, so much so that it could actually be the most expensive of Apple’s next generation, if not the most powerful. That honor will continue to go to the Pro and Pro Max models.

How will it be located, when will it arrive and how much will it cost?

I have already told you the key details of its location. In terms of specifications, it won’t be on par with the iPhone 17 Pro and will have a slightly smaller screen than the iPhone 17 Plus. Some rumors say that Apple will not launch this terminal and that The iPhone 17 Air will replace the iPhone 17 Plusbut not confirmed.

All in all, it will be a top smartphone in terms of design and build quality, and its price will be very high. It is commented that it can cost $1,299a figure which, at the exchange rate in euros and after taxes, would be 1,444 euros. Apple usually rounds up prices, so this number can go up to 1,499 euros.

Regarding the launch date, it would be most logical for the iPhone 17 Air to go on the market along with the rest of the iPhone 17. Its introduction will take place at the first half of Septemberso we can expect the release one to two weeks after that.
