Lenovo introduced the ThinkPad X1 2025, an updated premium convertible with Intel Lunar Lake processors and aspires to be the best in the segment.

The Chinese PC giant held Tech World 2024 this week to reinforce its “smarter AI for everyone” goal, focusing on hyper-personalization, ultra-productivity and “Unprecedented data protection for work, study and home”as they advertise. It debuts with support for the latest connectivity standards, such as Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and there’s even an option for a sub-6GHz 5G cellular modem. It has an 8 MP webcam with an IR sensor compatible with Windows Hello for security tasks. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the keyboard, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, Thunderbolt 4 ports, USB 3.2 and HDMI 2.1.

The ThinkPad X1 2025 will be available in February 2025 for a price of around $2200. It’s not cheap, but it will be among the best in lightweight convertibles to start the new year.
