SpaceX’s Ilona Maska successfully launched a rocket ship with more than 50 Starlink mobile Internet satellites on Friday.
This was stated in a statement on the company’s official website, Ukrinform reported.
“On Friday, June 17, at 12:09 PM Eastern Time, SpaceX launched 53 Starlink satellites from Kennedy Space Center launch complex 39A (LC-39A) in Florida.”
It was stated that the cargo was launched into space with a reusable Falcon-9 launch vehicle. The current start is 13th for him.
One hour after launch Space X reported on its official Twitter page that all satellites have been successfully launched into orbit.
“The deployment of 53 Starlink satellites has been confirmed,” the space company said.
As Ukrinform reports, SpaceX founder Elon Musk helped provide Ukraine with Starlink stations and satellite Internet access. He also transferred Tesla Powerwall stations to Ukraine.
