The company, looking for investments, prepared for a new investment round in July 2016, but the political imbalances of those years caused investors to withdraw from this process and the company was closed. It dashed their hopes of receiving investments.
Thus, the financial problems of İncir.com, which could not find investments, deepened further It brought him to the brink of bankruptcy.
The problem wasn’t just money! There were also some issues with the business model.

Although Incir.com’s business model seems interesting and innovative at first glance, It was not sustainable in the longer term.
Because users waiting to sell on the platform did not have the necessary knowledge and experience, many stores could not sell sufficiently and this situation decline in income causes.
Additionally, as competition on the platform increased, sales and commission rates decreased, resulting in deterioration of cash flow causes.
In addition, the strength of major players in the e-commerce market in Turkey such as Trendyol and Hepsiburada is also reflected in the strength of İncir.com. made it difficult to compete.
When all these difficulties came together, Incir.com was unable to continue its operations and ceased operations in 2016. disappeared into the dusty pages of history.
