The update is pending for both apps, Instagram and Spotify. The company announced the partnership late last week, promising an easy way to add songs to your library. 9to5Mac explains that it only takes a few taps.

How will this integration work?

When a user sees a post, Stories, or Reels that includes a song, they can first click on it to go to the track’s traditional page, where they can bookmark the track and see other posts featuring it. But it will happen now new “Add” button Next to the player to listen to a short preview.

Of course, for the new feature to work, users will need to link their Spotify accounts to Instagram. Songs added to Spotify will appear in your Favorite Songs playlist and Library tab.

The new feature will be available to users on both iOS and Android devices. A similar feature is already available on TikTok, but it works not only with Spotify but also with some other music apps. It is currently unknown whether Instagram will expand its list of integrated services, but it would be logical and correct.

The new feature is currently rolling out globally, but may not appear immediately for some accounts and in some countries. Some users in Ukraine have already taken advantage of this opportunity, so you can check its availability right now.
