Google has been working on a rival for ChatGPT’s conversation mode for months. It’s called Gemini Live and is available in English on any Gemini-compatible mobile phone. Today, October 21, Google announced its compatibility with Spanish, so conversations can now be carried out fluently in our language.
Specifically, Google tells us about expansion to more than 40 additional languages compared to English, including Spanish. It is a function that has started to spread on Android phones and will gradually reach all phones compatible with Gemini.
To configure Gemini Live in Spanish we will need to follow the steps below.
The most normal thing is that if you use Gemini or Google Assistant in its default configuration, the Spanish language is already configured. Live is the most talked about interface where we can talk on the phone as if we were a human, with a much faster and more natural response capacity than the standard Gemini mode.
Live is a conversation mode in which we can talk to artificial intelligence about any topic by choosing from ten different voices. Advice, information, ideas, expansion of knowledge, etc. on any subject. It is an alternative that we should consider if we want to.
Like any new development, this will be done in phases. Gemini Live in Spanish is starting to arrive starting today, but it may take a few hours or even a few days for it to appear to you. Make sure the Google app, Gemini app, and Google services on your phone are up to date.
