Just a few months after BMW introduced the next-generation M5 in sedan and wagon versions, Manhart has announced its own MH5 800E upgrade package, which includes visual improvements, chassis and engine upgrades.

Manhart made changes to the twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 without touching the electric motor. As a result, the total power of the plug-in hybrid system is expected to increase from 717 hp. up to approximately 789 hp.

Manhart’s exterior kit includes a redesigned front splitter, side skirts, a brighter rear diffuser and a larger rear spoiler. The company will also offer a full carbon hood option.

The car was placed on six double-spoke Manhart Concave One wheels. Manhart did not specify the details of the chassis upgrade but confirmed that they will introduce new suspension solutions that will bring the M5 closer to the ground. Prices for the entire MH5 800E and individual components will be announced at a later date.
