Ubiquiti is entering the NAS world for the first time with the UNAS Pro. This 2U rackmount NAS is compatible with the UniFi ecosystem and offers space for seven drives (2.5-inch or 3.5-inch).
In terms of connectivity, there are two options: 1GbE RJ45 or 10G SFP+. On the back there is an expansion port for the UniFi Power Backup. On the front is the traditional small 1.3-inch square touchscreen that we know from many UniFi devices.
Inside, a quad-core ARM Cortex-A57 chip and 8GB of RAM power the system. Various RAID configurations are possible. Further configuration options can be found in the following video:
The Ubiquiti UNAS Pro will be available from October 25th and has a recommended retail price of 459 euros excluding VAT.
