A new application that bypasses Windows 11 system requirements appears via GitHub. The application offers a backdoor to install Windows 11 on older PCs, although that isn’t easy either.
The system requirements that Microsoft sets for installing Windows 11 prevent many users of older versions of Windows from updating their device. Especially as Windows 10 nears the end of its lifespan, users with incompatible devices will start looking for loopholes. The Flyby11 application available on GitHub bypasses the system requirements.
The application was developed by a developer named Belim. FlyBy 11 supports two ways to install Windows 11 without meeting the system requirements. A first option is the server setup method. It uses the Windows Server installation process to avoid hardware compatibility checks.
A second way is the “Rufus” method, which obtains download links via a PowerShell script. There are other tricks you can use to install Windows 11 via a backdoor, such as: For example, installing the operating system via a USB drive or forcing the update via the registry editor.
Keep in mind that installing Windows 11 via a backdoor rarely goes smoothly. Microsoft sticks to the system requirements and logically does not encourage attempts to circumvent them. Any gap that experienced Windows users open will sooner or later be closed by Microsoft.
Even if you want to use the FlyBy11 app, there are a few things to keep in mind. The application is not recognized by Microsoft, so there’s a good chance that installing it will set Defender’s alarm bells ringing.
Microsoft has even tightened the system requirements for Windows 11 24H2. For example, each device must comply with the PopCnt instruction. If not, no backdoor to Windows 11 will open.
The Windows 11 24H2 update has been available since the beginning of October. Install the latest version at your own risk.
